We picked up Oreo today! We're fostering him with intent to adopt. At least that's what the rescue lady said. Anyway. So far so good. He seems like a great dog. We took him to the dog beach and he LOVED the water. He booked it straight into the ocean. It was comical. So different than our other dogs....they were scared of the waves. But yea...he loved all the other dogs there and was also really into the birds. He wanted to chase all of them!

On another note. So we're driving home from the dog beach and we realize that Thunder's phone isn't in the car. I had taken it from him for safekeeping...to make sure that it didn't get in the water since he's broken a phone that way before. Seeing him chasing Kodi (oh yea we renamed Oreo to Kodi) all over the place in the ocean, it seemed like it was bound to happen. Anyway...so I took his phone and put it in my pocket. Apparently it fell out. So we were like 10 miles away from the dog beach at 430pm on a Friday afternoon and we have to turn around. Can we say traffic? Luckily it was mostly going the other direction and we made it back to the beach pretty quick. Thunder goes out with Kodi to look for his phone on the beach while I stay in the car changing and feeding Bailey. About 10 minutes later Thunder comes back with his phone! He found it in the sand!!! How crazy is that?? I was soooo glad he found it. It was more than just the phone...it was all of his contacts and a 4 gig memory card with a bunch of music on it. Yea....that could have been bad. Although luckily I'm getting a new phone on Tuesday and he could have used that if he had to. I'm glad it didn't come to that.

Oh yea...so this was Bailey's first time to a beach... We didn't take any pictures though because she spent the whole time sleeping in the sling. That and we were preoccupied chasing after two crazy dogs. =)

I'll post pictures of the new pup when I get a chance. He's sooooo cute!
