ramble, ramble

so it seems that i've been rather busy lately. bailey's decided that my boobs are the happiest place on earth...seriously. so unless she's there, she cries. well that's not true. she doesn't cry in her sleep. so i either have to sit with her or carry her in the sling ALL day. i've gotten good at doing things with one hand and i'm getting quite a work out doing housework while carrying a 12 lb. baby. oh yea, she weighs 12 lbs. now! holy crap! she's getting so big so fast!
but anyway. yea baby on the boobs. that's where we're at right now. i've been told she'll outgrow this once other things begin to interest her... so i guess maybe in 2 months or so? its hard not to question your decisions sometimes though... it seems like so many people these days believe that you should let babies "cry it out." that i'm somewhat spoiling her by letting her nurse all the time. i figure she's too young to really soothe herself otherwise. then i've heard that i shouldn't let her fall asleep while nursing....but lately it seems that that's the only way she'll go to sleep. what am i supposed to do? how is doing that different than when people give babies a bottle to go to sleep? anyway... i guess we'll keep doing what works for us.
